Earth Day Clean-Up
Looking for a volunteer opportunity for Earth Day Cleanup? Join us April 22 from 11AM-3PM in Waterbury, CT.
Please select desired clean-up site upon registration, options are listed under "pricing".
We will need 10 for Homeless Encampment Clean-Up. Those who register will be notified of exact locations for both encampment and assigned park.
Clean-Up Sites:
Homeless Encampment Clean Up
Volunteers will assist with removing debris, properly disposing of waste, and restoring affected areas. Supplies, gloves, and guidance will be provided. CAUTION: volunteers could be exposed to drug paraphernalia during clean up. The Department of Health will be on site to ensure proper handling and disposal.
City Park Clean Up
Help clean up one of the 34 parks in the city. The Parks Deptartment will provide guidance and supplies for those locations.
**We need 10 people for the encampment and everyone else will be assigned to a park**
